Das Kompensationselement mit glatten Innenflächen besteht aus formgepresstem Elastomer. Zur Fixierung und Abstützung bei Druckbelastungen dienen einvulkanisierte Trag- und Stützringe aus Edelstahl.
Einsetzbar ist der Dehnungskompensator für einen Betriebsüberdruck bis 10 bar, im Unterdruckbereich bis 50 mbar. Die Dauerbetriebstemperatur beträgt 120 °C, kurzzeitig bis 140 °C.

The decisive advantage is the pocket-free design with drain characteristics, which is indispensable for optimal cleaning in the CIP/SIP method.
Further characteristics are the short and compact design and the intermediate flange connection. The compensation element with smooth inside surfaces consists of compression moulded elastomer. Integral vulcanised bearing and support rings made of stainless steel are used for fixing and re-inforcement against pressure load.
The expansion compensators are designed for an operating pressure up to 10 bar and in the low pres-sure range up to 50 mbar. The continuous operating temperature is 120 °C, at short time up to 140 °C.
