Co.ra designed the tablet valve respecting the strictest hygiene norms and avoiding recesses and interstices of any kind, thus allowing the operator to quickly disassemble and clean the valve without the use of any tools. It was constructed to resolve the problem of interception and flow control of capsules, tablets, pills and granules without damaging them. The parts of the valve in contact with the product are made in AISI 316 L, while the parts which are not in contact are made in AISI 304. On request the valves can be made in the materials Hastelloy or Pom C. In case of resistance to solvents, the valves can be coated in Halar or PFA. The Tablet Valve vane is silicone coated and its outer surface is flexible. This allows opening/closing of the valve without damaging the product. The silicone is of medical grade material based on the standards of Pharmacopoeia FDA 21 CFR 177.2600. The valve can be actuated by handle or pneumatic actuator.
