In-pipe manipulators from Ibass are used for the internal inspec- tion, grinding and refurbishment of pipes. The A 50h-VT in-pipe manipulator which is presented here was designed especially for the visual inspection of pipe interiors. The unit is centred in the pipeline and the camera can be rotated in the direction of the pipe circumference without any limits. A special light ring illuminates the pipe wall, providing a high- contrast image for the user. The high-performance S100s grinder can be used for grinding welding seams inside the pipe.
