Alfa Laval offers a range of tank access covers that meets the requirements of the 3-A Sanitary Standard. The range includes two 3-A tank access cover models. An example of an 3-A access tank cover is the Oval Cover LKD. Manufactured in 316L stainless steel, it is available in two sizes: 440 x 320 mm and 535 x 435 with FDA-approved seals in EPDM, NBR, FPM or silicone. Like all tank covers in the 3-A range, the Oval Cover LKD features an electropolished surface finish of less than 0.4 Ra for the product contact parts and 0.8 Ra on non-product contact surfaces.
