The C-series of vacuum conveyors are ideal for conveying powders and other dry ingredients that are typically used in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Powered by the highly regarded pneumatically driven vacuum pumps of Piab, these systems safely and quietly transport up to 10 to 15 t/h of material in virtually any manufacturing or processing environment. The vacuum conveyors of the C-series are made of stainless steel AISI 316L. The filter design can trap particles down to 0.3 µm and can be equipped with a high efficiency particle arrestment filter (HEPA). The design of the new conveyor improves the vacuum-assisted flow by 25 % without affecting energy consumption. To meet the strict regulations of the pharmaceutical, food and dairy industries, Piab’s C-21 and C-33 conveyors have been examined to meet compliance standards. The C-Series of vacuum conveyors are available in diameters of 210, 330 and 560 mm.
